Each year, thousands of kids discover where their food comes from with hands-on activities, like collecting eggs, exploring the garden, and milking the dairy cow. The world comes alive in front of their eyes!
But we need your help. This summer, Annie, our current dairy cow, will be joining our other cows in the field for a well-deserved retirement. We have reached out to an awesome farmer in Michigan who had raised several generations of Jerseys and Ayrshires and we've fallen in love with a great, kid-friendly dairy cow named Opal.
Help us cover the cost of buying Opal and bringing her to Hard Bargain Farm. We can't wait to welcome her here so she can inspire another generation of students learning about farm life.
Donors will also receive an invite to a very special open house to welcome Opal to the farm in mid July.
