This year's homeschool program will focus on why and how we farm while connecting it to the daily lives of our students. Farms support our daily lives whether we realize it or not. Whether it is the food that we eat or the clothing we wear, without farms, it wouldn't be possible. Come out to Hard Bargain Farm to learn the ins and outs of farming and have some fun too. In the fall, students will explore the barnyard and chicken coops to meet the animals and understand their unique adaptations. In the winter, we will explore how farms impact the watershed and how we can positively affect our local waterways. Finally, as spring approaches, we will learn all about fibers and how they go from plants or animals to become our clothing.
Make sure to sign up today as space is limited to 40 students! All participants ages 6-12 welcome.
***New pricing system: first child is $120.00, each additional is $60.00***
